It's Thursday! Wake up everyone and shine your light!!!!

I'm awake, but I refuse to shine..lol
Getting up @ 4:30 on my day off entitles me to be dull and not shiny today. Not a lot going on but some shopping and then my support group tonight. I have a 30% off coupon for Kohl's and Gary needs some jeans and a couple of polo shirts. So, I'll go hit the clearance racks and see what I can get for cheap. Last top I bought there was a $34 for $3.40!!!!  Love me some bargains!

Think I'll get back to my book and finish my coffee. Then I suppose I should think about a shower. Just think, mind you. Not sure it's going to happen for a while, no sense rushing things, right?

Just a quick check in here folks. . .

Lots going on in the lives of people closely related to me, nothing much I can do about it, which makes me sad, but I see strength in those going through things and it gives me strength to get through my things. . .

I got lots to do at this job of mine, so I need to get back to it, I just wanted to say hi and let you know that you all give me what I need to carry on some days. . .

I watered the flowers last night so of course it is raining today. Chilly 66 degrees.

A support group member stopped for a visit. My house is 3 miles away from our surgeon so people often stop in to see me after their appointments. That's always nice.

No plans for today except paint a birdhouse then swim class.

Hi Karen and my OFF friends,
Seeing the psychologist was easier than I thought it would be.  It looks like it will be a process of getting to know all about me.  She did suggest something about my marriage that I hadn't thought about before so she has been helpful already. It's a relief just to have spoken to someone about it.   Still haven't told Hubby yet that I'm going.  Need to do it before the insurance co. sends out the letter stating care given and patient's responsibility (which will be 0).  I'm kind of scared what his reaction will be so that's why I haven't told him yet.  I hate yelling, fighting and confrontation.  I'm guessing telling a stranger about our private affairs is not gonna make him too happy.
But I feel happy today.  It's gonna rain later but Sat. & Sun. are supposed to be gorgeous.  We are not so hot anymore - under 80. Yay.
A woman at work is having shoulder surgery tomorrow so I'm going to go out and lunch and get a card for everyone to sign at work for her.  And I'll get some Wendy's chili too.

I'm still here- duh. I went to Target yesterday for more drugs and a few supplies. I held onto the cart for dear life. It's obvious that I'm getting better but it's too slow for my liking. My light is shining but it's a tea light right now.

My cleaning fairy just finished cleaning, laundry  and grocery shopping. Everything is put away and the house smells great!!!

Like I said  yesterday I don't work again until Monday and I am just going to be resting and relaxing some. No major plans this weekend.

Hi Karen and my OFF family:

It's after 2 p.m. and I'm really late getting on here. I was up at 10 and feeding Scooter, then out the door to do some financial stuff. Did something stupid last week ... bounced a check on my editor (the one who loaned me money) ... not intentionally, of course. When I wrote the check, there was plenty of money in the account to cover it. But a few months ago, I preordered a book from Amazon, and it happened to come through the same day the check came through, I wasn't expecting it and ... oh well, I think you can figure it out. So she was pissed and I can't blame her. So I had to get money out to pay her back. I guess her hubby was giving her some heat over it, too. I sure didn't mean to do it.

So while I was doing that, I closed out the account at the crappy credit union ... no sense keeping it open. The teller asked if there was anything they could do to change my mind ... I said no, and then they had a little survey ... so I told them why I was closing the account.

Then I came home and made a chocolate zucchini cake to take into work. I had a new food processor ... a really good one ... but I couldn't figure out how to use the grater. So I had to drag out the old one and use it. Oh well ... I will have to read the instructions. Now I'm all covered with chocolate ... yummy!

well my light is on and it is hot!!!!! I am sitting at the nursing home with my daughter and my sister in law and my husband. We are leaving on Monday to drive back down to Florida so I can go back to work on wednesday.
My husband is ******g me off and today is our 31st anniversary. He thinks he has to sit at the nursing home with his sister 24 7. Not good. Maybe Ill get him a bed here too.
I did drag him away last night and we went to Milwaukee to take my cousin out to dinner. It was wonderful but very exspensive. My daughter and my son in law went too.
We went wedding dress shopping and the first dress she tried on was absulutly beautiful!!!!! I hope that one will be the one/!!!!!
I am going to go t South Haven Michigan with my neice tonight and go to the beach with my nephew and neice tomorrow.
Otherwise life is good!!!!!
